Pillowcases & Pumpkins

For years I've been making special pillowcases for kids...nieces, nephews, my kiddo's, friends, grandkids, etc. I thought I might document the two I just made for Samantha and Rebecca for Thanksgiving. Kind of an odd thing to make, but children really like them.

Here's another odd thing I made...and I'm going to be making them with
the kiddo's I work with at school too.

Crafting Fun

While we were in Mexico this summer, I finished my collage frames for each of my kids. I took some of my favorite pictures and then cut & glued them onto an Ikea frame. Then I Mod Podged them and selected a picture for the center. I love how they turned out and I have them hanging on my wall of fame in my bedroom.

This next one is a picture that Vika did at church. It's what inspired
me to do the following one after hers.

The 2010 Mutual theme gave me the idea for my next Mod Podge craft. I wanted a picture of the Savior with the theme printed on it. I went to "theideadoor.com" to download one of their fabulous rustic pictures and then added the theme on top of it.

OK...here's some valances that I made for the classroom I work in. Notice the rods are gigantic pencils...cool, huh? They were not only fun to make, they totally make our classroom. Sewing is sssseeeewwww much fun!
